You can use Zoho OneAuth to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) on your LinkedIn account and add an extra layer of security.
Add LinkedIn account to OneAuth
You can add a 2FA account to OneAuth in either of the following ways:
If LinkedIn and OneAuth are open on the same device, you cannot scan the QR code. Use the Add account manually method instead.
A. Scan the QR code
- Open the OneAuth app.
- On the MFA tab, tap Scan any QR.
- Scan the QR code displayed on your LinkedIn page.
- Verify the LinkedIn account details displayed in OneAuth, then tap Done.
B. Add account manually
If you can't scan the QR code:
a. Upload QR image:
Go to the Authenticator tab.
Tap Add new to add your LinkedIn account.
If you've already added other online 2FA accounts, tap the

icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap Choose from Photos on iOS, Pick from gallery on Android, or Upload image on Windows to upload the QR image.
- Verify the account details, then tap Done.
b. Enter 2FA secret:
- Go to the Authenticator tab.
Tap Add new to add your LinkedIn account.
If you've already added other online 2FA accounts, tap the

icon in the top-right corner.
Tap Add account manually and enter the following details:
- Issuer name: LinkedIn (optional)
- User name: Your LinkedIn username (optional)
- Secret key: The alphanumeric secret displayed on your LinkedIn account page
- Choose Folder: Select a folder for the 2FA account. To create a new folder, tap the + icon, enter a name, then tap CREATE
Choose Brand: Choose LinkedIn logo
We recommend keeping the Advanced Settings details unchanged. Incorrect changes may cause 2FA codes to fail.
- Tap Done.
A time-based OTP will be generated in OneAuth. Return to LinkedIn and tap Continue. Enter the OTP, then tap Confirm to complete verification.
Once verified, two-factor authentication (2FA) will be enabled for your LinkedIn account. When you sign in to your LinkedIn account, open the OneAuth app and enter the 2FA code displayed for LinkedIn when prompted.
