Stripe is a payment processor that enables you to accept online payments. Integrate Stripe with your Backstage portal to process payments for ticket purchases and tackle refunds whenever you need. Backstage doesn't charge you for ticket sales but you'll have to pay Stripe a transaction fee.

Stripe supports payments through credit card. If you've set your payout country as Netherlands, you can also use iDEAL to collect payments. Stripe also supports global payment processing in
more than 135 countries.
Note: Before adding a payment gateway for your portal, ensure that you've set a payment mode and selected your payout country. You can do this either for your entire
portal or for
a specific event.
If you're setting up your payment gateway for the first time, you will be asked to select it when choosing your payment mode. Select Stripe from the list of payment gateways in the Add payment gateway panel, then enter your credentials to proceed with the integration.
Connect your Stripe account to Backstage to receive payments for tickets purchases made through your event microsite.
Sign up for an account now if you don't already have one.
You can integrate your Stripe account with Backstage using your Stripe email address and password.
- Go to Portal Settings > Payment > Payment Setup tab, from the Portal Page.
- Click the Add Payment Gateway link in the Payment Gateways section. The Add payment gateway panel will appear.
- Select the Stripe option.
- Click Done. You will automatically be navigated to Stripe in a new browser window, where you can Sign In to your account.

Provide permission for Zoho Backstage to access your Stripe account. You will then be redirected to the Payment tab on Backstage.
Note: You only have to provide this permission once for your Stripe account.
- Click the Edit button associated with the Stripe payment gateway. The Stripe panel will appear.
- Select your preferred payment methods for transactions from the Payment Options section.
- Click Done.
Note: The iDEAL payment option can be used when:
- You have an iDEAL account set up in Stripe.
- The event currency is set to EUR.
- Purchasers provide a billing address that is in the Netherlands.
