Product Catalog in Bigin lets you create and share a centralized catalog of your products with customers. The catalog is a public facing page where customers can browse your products and send enquiries directly to you. You can share the catalog link through email, messaging apps, or social media to start receiving enquiries.
Each product in the catalog can include details like price, description, images, and quantity selection. Customers can review the catalog at their convenience and submit enquiries for the products by filling out a form with their details.
If required, you can also enable online payments, which will redirect customers to a payment link after form submission. All enquiries are automatically captured in the Bigin pipeline, helping you track customer interest and follow up efficiently.
Say, Zylker Electronics wants to showcase a selected range of products, such as laptops, mobile phones, and accessories, to prospective customers. They can use the Product Catalog, and create a shareable Catalog from existing product views and share the public link through email campaigns or social media.
When customers open the link, they can browse products displayed as cards, view detailed specifications, and select a product they are interested in. After choosing a product, customers fill out an enquiry form with their contact information. If online payments are enabled, customers can complete the payment directly through the payment link.
Each enquiry or order submitted through the Catalog is automatically added as a new record in the appropriate sales pipeline in Bigin.
Notes
- Customers can only select one product per order.
- If the same customer purchases another product from the Catalog, a new order record will be created in the pipeline.
Enabling Product Catalog

Configuration
Configuring Product Display
First, select the products you want to display in the Catalog from the available views in the Product module.
After selecting the products, choose the information you want to display for each product. Product information is shown in two formats:
Product Cards: Products in the Catalog are displayed as cards. Each card can show a maximum of three fields, where Product Name is mandatory and up to two additional fields can be selected.
The following image shows the Catalog Card.
Product Details Page: When a customer clicks a product card, a detailed product view is displayed. You can choose the fields from the Product module to appear on this page to show the details of the product.
The following image shows the Detail page of the Catalog.
Configuring Order Tracking
When a customer submits an enquiry or places an order through the Catalog, Bigin creates a pipeline record based on your configuration. You can choose the pipeline and sub-pipeline where the record should be created. You can also assign the record to a specific user or select multiple users and enable round-robin assignment. Additionally, you can add one or more tags to the record for easier tracking and organization.
Configuring Online Payments
If you want to collect payments from customers, you can enable Accept Payments while setting up the Catalog. If payment links are already configured, you can enable them directly.
If not, you will be prompted to configure a payment gateway, which opens the payment link
configuration page.
Once enabled, customers will be redirected to the payment link while submitting their order.
Note
- Based on the DC the payment gateway will be displayed.
The enquiry form is displayed after a customer selects a product and is used to collect customer details. You can add the required fields to capture the necessary information. You can also mandate fields according to your needs.
Based on your configuration, the submitted details are saved directly as a record in the selected pipeline.
Catalog Branding and Customization
Page Header: You can customize the appearance and behavior of your Catalog by adding a Catalog name and logo.
Button Labels: Button labels such as the Catalog button name and enquiry button name can be customized to suit your business needs.
Other Display Features:
- You can also add a support email address so customers can reach out if an order or payment fails.
- If required, you can disable the quantity selector to restrict customers from selecting quantity of the product.
- You may also choose to display Bigin branding on the Catalog.
Sharing the Catalog
Once the Catalog is configured, click the Publish Catalog button. A public link will be generated that you can share with your customers.
Anyone with access to the link can view the Catalog, browse product details, and submit enquiries or place orders. If the Catalog is deactivated, the link won't be available.
Customers using the Catalog
When your customers open the Catalog link, they can view all products displayed as cards. Selecting a product opens a detailed view with complete product information.
Customers can then proceed by clicking the action button, filling out the enquiry form, and completing the payment if it is enabled.
If payments are not enabled, the enquiry is directly added as a record in the configured pipeline.
If payment is enabled, you can make your payments directly from Bigin. Based on the gateway selected, you will be redirected.
