Scheduling interval is the time interval or the frequency at which the appointment start time should be shown on the booking page. For example, if scheduling interval is set to 30 minutes, appointment start times will be: 9:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and so on.
Let's say your event type duration is one hour, and your scheduling interval is also one hour. This shows the appointment start times as 8, 9, 10, 11, and so on. This cannot accommodate a customer who needs an appointment at 9:30. Therefore, a more flexible start time can accommodate various customer time requirements. Setting the scheduling interval to thirty minutes (8:00, 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, etc.) resolves this. This way, customers can book without restriction, reducing missed opportunities.

Info

Say you are booked for another appointment from 10:00 to 10:15, then the time slots for both options will be as shown below.Learn how to use the best tools for sales force automation and better customer engagement from Zoho's implementation specialists.
