Access and sharing
Yes. Add the same server URL to each AI tool and authorize it in each one. All of them then use the same set of tools.
Can my team use the same server?
Yes. In Zoho MCP, invite your teammates as collaborators with the Admin or User role. By default, each person authorizes the tools with their own Zoho account, so each person's actions follow their own Zoho Campaigns permissions. For steps, see Invite a collaborator in the Zoho MCP guide. The selection of Zoho Campaigns organization is done when you authenticate the Zoho MCP server. During this time, you would choose to which organization you want to have a MCP server.
To pause access, disable the server. In the Zoho MCP console, click the ellipsis icon next to the server and click Disable. You can turn it back on later the same way by clicking Enable. To remove access for good, delete the server or remove the connector from your AI tool.
Data and changes
Yes. The Logs section of the Zoho MCP console records every tool call made through your server, along with the tool used and whether the call succeeded. You can filter the logs by time zone, status, and tool. Logs are kept for 30 days. For steps, see Use Logs. No. Changes made through MCP take effect in your Zoho Campaigns organization right away, the same as changes you make yourself. Tools such as deleteCampaign, deleteMailingList, and deleteWebhook delete data permanently. If you do not need these tools, leave them out of your server.
Can I use Zoho Campaigns MCP for SMS or WhatsApp campaigns?
Not at the moment. The Zoho Campaigns MCP tools cover email campaigns, contacts, mailing lists, segments, tags, topics, contact fields, and webhooks. There are no tools for SMS or WhatsApp campaigns.
Troubleshooting
Check these common causes:
The server URL was not copied in full. Copy it again from the Connect section.
The server is disabled, or the authorization on the Zoho Accounts screen was not completed.
The server has more tools than your AI tool supports. Move some tools to a second server.
Your AI tool plan or your organization's settings do not allow custom connectors.
Your AI tool has not picked up recent changes to the server's tools. Start a new chat or reconnect the server.
Do I need coding skills to use Zoho Campaigns MCP?
No. You set up the server by clicking through the Zoho MCP console and pasting a URL into your AI tool. After that, you work in plain language. Some developer tools, such as Windsurf, ask for a short configuration snippet, and the Connect section of the Zoho MCP console gives you that snippet ready to copy.
