Migrate associated WhatsApp phone numbers to Zoho Campaigns

Business Service Providers (BSPs) help you connect your WhatsApp Business account with an application that supports multiple communication channels. If you want to reach many customers, track their responses, and send automated WhatsApp campaigns for events and other use cases, you need a BSP.
If you were using another application or BSP before this, you must migrate your WhatsApp phone numbers from the previous platform to Zoho Campaigns. The phone numbers you plan to use for WhatsApp campaigns should be linked to Zoho Campaigns.

Migration process 

This process has two steps:

  • Disable two-step verification

  • Integrate your WhatsApp Business account and add the phone numbers

Disable two-step verification    

  1. Login to your Meta Business Suite.

  2. Choose the account from the dropdown in the top-left corner.

  3. Click WhatsApp Manager from the navigation toolbar.

  4. Click on Phone numbers.

  5. Click the Settings icon beside the number you want to migrate.

  6. Click Two-step verification, then click the Turn off two-step verification button.

  7. Click Ok.

Integrate your WhatsApp business account and add phone numbers  

  1. Click the Settings icon located on the top right of the screen.

  2. Choose Apps under Integrations.

  3. Under App Categories, click Instant Messaging, and then click WhatsApp

  4. Click Connect.

  5. You'll be prompted to login to a Facebook account. Log in with the account that is linked to your business email.

  6. Once you log in to Meta (Facebook), you can select an existing business account or create a new one. Choose an existing business and select your business from the dropdown.

  7. Agree to the terms and conditions by clicking Next in the respective popup.

  8. Enter your phone number and click Next. Verify the phone number with OTP. It will be moved to Zoho Campaigns.
