How do I enable Zia Writing Assistant

  1. Go to the Settings page from the right side menu.



  2. Navigate to the Writing Assistant section under Zia



  3. Tap the toggle button to enable the Writing Assistance.



Adding API keys from ChatGPT account

You can link ChatGPT with your Zoho Connect network by adding the API keys from your ChatGPT account.
Notes
You can only add API keys after enabling the Zia writing assistant.

We’re using the GPT-4o-mini version in our Zia Writing Assistant for better performance and accuracy.

 

How do I add an API key to Zia writing assistant?

  1. Go to the Zia section from the settings page.
  2. Under the Configure section, click the Add API key button.
  3. From the pop-up, select Create a new API key.
  4. Add the API keys copied from your ChatGPT account.



  5. Click Save.


How do I get the API key from my ChatGPT account?

  1. Copy the API keys if you've configured it already.
    Also, ensure that you've not restricted
    the GPT-4o-mini model in the project settings.
     

If you don't have an API key, then you should create one first.

To create an API key in OpenAI,

  1. Go to API keys page from Settings.
  2. Click Create new Secret key.
  3. Enter the project name and select a project.



    If you're choosing Restricted in Permissions, enable Read permission for Models and Write permission for Model capabilities.



  4. Once done, click Create secret key.

NotesYou cannot use Zia Writing Assistant if you've chosen Read only permissions for the key.

Alternatively, you can use existing API keys from other Zoho Services.
  1. Go to the Zia section from the settings page.
  2. Under the Configure section, click the Add API key button.
  3. From the pop-up, select the available Zoho account in which you have already linked ChatGPT.



  4. Click Continue.

What will happen after configuring Zia Writing Assistant?

Once you have entered the API keys and completed configuration, the Zia icon () will appear in the text editors for all network users.

 

How do I disable Zia in Zoho Connect?

  1. Go to the Settings page from the right side menu.
  2. Navigate to the Writing Assistance section under Zia.
  3. Tap the toggle button to disable the Writing Assistance.
