Configuring Email and Push Notifications

Overview

Notifications lets you stay informed on any new activity in your network. Zoho Connect sends notifications through email, or if you are a user of Zoho Connect's mobile app, you'll receive push notifications. To weigh down the number of notifications received, you can select on which occasions you would like to be notified.
 This document deals with individual preferences. Click here to know how the admin can set network-wide preferences.  

How to configure Notification Preferences?

  1. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the header.
  2. From the menu, select Notification Preferences.
                       
  1. In the pop-out, toggle the button to enable email notifications.
      
  1. Switch between the tabs (General, Groups, Forums, and Boards) to set your preferences.
  2. Use the checkboxes to enable and disable notifications as you want. 
In case you've disabled email notifications in the general tab, you cannot enable email digest notifications. 

How to configure Notification Preferences for Groups? 

  1. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the header.
  2. From the menu, select Notification Preferences.
  3. In the pop-out, switch to the Groups tab.
      
  1. On the left, you'll see a list of Groups that you're part of.
  2. Select the Group you want by scrolling through the list or by typing the Group name in the search bar.
          
  1. Once selected, you can set the notifications for the selected Group.

How to configure Notification Preferences for Forum posts?

  1. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the header.
  2. From the menu, select Notification Preferences.
  3. In the pop-out, switch to the Forums tab.
      
  1. Use the check boxes to select the notifications that you'd like to receive.

How to configure Notification Preferences for Boards ?

  1. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the header.
  2. From the menu, select Notification Preferences.
  3. In the pop-out, switch to the Boards tab
      
  1. On the left, you'll see a list of Boards that you're part of.
          
  1. Select the Board you want by scrolling through the list or by typing the Board name in the search bar.
  2. Once selected, you can set your preferences for various activities of that Board.
In case you've disabled the following three options — assigns a Task, comments on a Task, and completes or reopens a Task, in the general tab, they will be turned off across all the boards.  Unless you turn them on in the general tab, you cannot enable notifications for those activities in the board preferences tab.
