Notification Preferences in Town Halls

Overview

Organizers and panelists can receive notifications whenever a new question, answer, or comment is added to their Town Hall session by configuring notification preferences.  

How to set the notification preferences? 

  1. Click Town Hall from the main menu in the left.
  2. From the list of ongoing sessions, select the required session.
  3. Click the ellipsis (...) found in the top-right corner.
  4. From the dropdown, select Notification Preferences.
      
  1. In the pop-out, select the notifications that you would like to receive. 
      
The above given Notification Preferences option is available only for the organizers and panelists.

Do participants receive notifications when there is a new activity in a Town Hall session? 

  1. Participants will receive notifications when they follow the Town Hall session or the questions in it.  
  2. Participants who do not follow the session but have added a question or comment in a Town Hall session can also receive notifications. For this, they should enable the option, "Comments on a Post where I've participated, or I've been mentioned" in the general notification preferences.
