Set descriptions for fields using tooltips and help texts

1. Applicable to the following field types: All except auto number , formula , and add notes .
   
2. Refer to this page to learn about describing fields.
   

1. Open the form builder.
2. Select the required field.
3. Navigate to the  Field Properties > Description  section on the right.
4. Select the required option from the dropdown below  Show :
   
   • Tooltip  is displayed when users hover on the field while accessing your form
   • Help Text  is displayed below the field
5. Enter the required text in the input box below  Description Text .
   

   
   

6. Change the color of the tooltip by changing the theme color of your Creator application if needed.
