What does this page cover?

Availability

1. Record comments are available only for the paid plans of Creator. 
   
2. Record comments can be managed(give other users permissions) by the super admin, admins, and developers while other users can access, view, and add the comments depending on their permissions.

Steps for managing record comments

Note: Record comments are not available for portals.

1. Navigate to the report in your application and select a record.
2. Click Add a comment to add a new comment to that record.
   
3. Enter your comment in the editor and click Comment.
   You can also tag users in comments. Learn about tagging users in a record comment.
   
4. You can reply to or delete a comment by selecting the respective button below the comment.
   

Comment permissions

1. Navigate to Settings at the top of the page, next to Workflow in the application edit mode.
   
2. Select User Permissions.
   
3. Select the permission you want to edit.
   
4. Select Read comments and/or Write comments, according to your preference.
   
5. Click Update, which is shown at the end of the permission table.

Points to note

1. Record comments are not available for portals.
2. Users can only delete comments that they've added.
   
3. Admins and super admins can delete any comment in the record or all the comments in a thread.
4. You can manage your record comment notifications with notification preferences.
