1.  Import users

When dealing with large teams, adding users one by one can be an arduous task, as it is time-consuming and prone to errors. To simplify this, multiple users can be added to your Creator organization at a time by importing a file that has the users details. This lets you add multiple users in a single action, instead of inviting them one at a time. The file you import must contain the email addresses and names of the users to be added. Supported file formats are .csv, .tsv, .xls, and .xlsx.

This creates users by just adding their email address and name. After they are added, you can add them to applications or assign other solutions.

1.1 Steps to import

  1. Click Users under the Manage section in the left pane of Creator.
  2. Click the More icon , then select Import Users.
  3. Drag and drop a file, or click Browse to upload a file. The file must include columns with headers as Name and Email, containing the names and email addresses of the users to be added. You can also download a sample file by selecting click here below the card.

  4. Click Import Users. The user details will be displayed for your review. If needed, use the Delete icon to remove any incorrect entries, then click Import.

The imported users will now be displayed on the Users page and will receive an invitation email to join your Creator organization.
    After importing
    1. Assign users to required applications and solutions
    2. Make any required user as an admin

2. Export users

Exporting users allows you to download a list of users from your Creator organization as a file. By default, the export includes all users in the organization. However, if you have applied filters on the Users page, the export will include only those filtered users, letting you download exactly the users you need.

This means you can export your full user base in one action, or narrow the list down first. For example: you can export users whose Invite status is Invited and export only those specific users.

You can also include optional columns such as invite status, last activity, and application details to add more context to the export. The exported file can be in the formats: CSV, XLS, XLSX, or TSV.  The exporting file can be protected with a password, so only intended users can open it.

2.1 Steps to export users

  1. Click the Users option under the Manage section in the left pane.
  2. Click the More button and choose the Export Users option from the drop-down
Export users option at the right corner under More options of Users tab
