Is it possible to book appointments in Zoho CRM using Zoho Bookings?

Yes. You need Zoho Bookings, which can be integrated to your CRM account from the marketplace. Let's see how Zoho Bookings can be used in order to book appointments. For example, there is a tour and travels company called Go India Travels. They have various tour packages to different destinations across the globe. W ith the help of the Zoho bookings app , which this company has integrated into their website, a visitor planning for a trip can easily book a slot with Go India Travels to finalize the deal or to have an overview about the trip and offers.

Booking an appointment from Zoho Bookings



In the above screenshots, you can see that a person named Steve Rogers has booked an appointment regarding a domestic trip for 24th Nov 2021 at 9am. This information will be added into the contacts module of Zoho CRM, the schedule of the meetings in the meetings module along with the detailed notifications.

 

In the above screenshot, you can see that customer details have been auto saved in the contact module with the notifications of the appointment. 


The appointment details can also be checked in the Meetings module of Zoho CRM. Thus Zoho Bookings not only saves the time and effort of booking a schedule , but also auto - populate s the CRM fields. 

Booking an appointment from Zoho CRM

You can easily book an appointment from within Zoho CRM . F or example, If an existing contact calls your sales rep to schedule an appointment and email them the booking details, Y ou can easily facilitate that through CRM. 
Go to the contacts module and open the contact for which you want to book an appointment. In the upper left corner you will see Email Bookings. 


A booking can be made either via the Zoho Bookings app, from the website where the bookings has been integrated, or from Zoho CRM itself. This will all be reflected in the prescribed modules of Zoho CRM. This makes the process of booking an appointment handy as well as keep all the data at one place. 

 

Let's now learn how Zoho Bookings can be integrated with Zoho CRM.

Integrating Zoho Bookings with Zoho CRM

  1. Go to Zoho Marketplace and search for ' Zoho Bookings for Zoho CRM ' under All Extensions.

  1. Click the Install button to install the extension in your CRM account. 
  1. You will be taken to a page which contains your details and your installation details. You can edit it according to your needs.

  1. Click   Install and you will be taken to another page that will ask for your login details.

  1. Click Continue to Install and you will be taken to another page. 

  1. Choose who can access Zoho Bookings in your CRM account. You can select among the given choices. This can be changed later. Choose your preferred users and click Confirm   to install this extension in your CRM. A dialogue box will appear.

 

  1. Authorise Zoho CRM to link with your Zoho Bookings account in order to sync the data. If you do not have a Zoho Bookings account, you can create one by clicking   Signup . Once you authorise data linking, Zoho bookings will be connected to Z oho CRM. 
       8. Click Finish.

Setting up Zoho Bookings for Zoho CRM

 
Once Zoho Bookings is installed on your Zoho CRM, you need to set it up to start using it on your CRM. You need to choose a module to add new Zoho Bookings customers. In the above screenshot , a tour and travel company called Go India Travels is using Zoho Bookings to auto - add contacts to Zoho CRM.
