Can I add new prospects from incoming call pop-ups?
Yes, if you've integrated your telephone provider with your Zoho CRM account, the calls you make or receive will have contextual business information. This allows you to view relevant details about the lead or contact before answering or making the call.
However, if someone who isn't in your CRM database calls you, you'll see an incoming call pop-up displaying an unknown number. You can add these new prospects as leads or contacts from the call window without interrupting your conversation.
All you need to do is click the (
+) icon next to the caller's number in the pop-up when you answer a call from an unknown number. Then, choose to add them as a new or existing lead or contact.

This is especially useful when a prospect shares their business details and requirements during the call, and you need to capture the information immediately. Instead of switching screens or taking notes to enter later, you can create the record on the spot and keep your sales process moving efficiently.
