Data catalog

The Data catalog section in the settings page helps in controlling the usage of datasets, their status, and discovery. This includes scheduling and sharing of datasets depending on their readiness for use. This section is visible to only the account admin and the organization admins.

Note: This setting is only accessible to the Account and Organization admins of your organization.

To apply data cataloging

1. Click on the Data catalog section from the Settings page.

2. Toggle to enable the following options.
Schedule only ready to use data for exports : Enabling this option allows the users in your organization to schedule only those datasets that are marked as ready to use.

Share only ready to use datasets with data consumers : Enabling this option allows the users to share only those datasets that are marked as ready to use with data consumers in your organization.
3. You can always toggle back to disable the options if you do not want to apply the data cataloging measures..
