FAQs: Tracking Metrics using PageSense

Scope and availability

What does PageSense track in Zoho Desk?
In the available documentation, Zoho PageSense powers Form Analytics for Zoho Desk web forms. It measures how visitors interact with a form embedded on a website, Help Center, or third-party page—such as whether visitors view the page, begin a form, complete it, abandon it, or struggle with particular fields.

The source describes form metrics and field metrics. It does not document a separate, general Help Center goal-tracking capability beyond this Form Analytics integration.
Which forms can be analyzed?
Form Analytics applies to Zoho Desk Feedback Widgets and Advanced Web Forms. New forms automatically receive a corresponding PageSense experiment after Form Analytics is enabled. Existing forms require an edit and save action to create their linked experiment.

For example, enabling analytics today will automatically prepare tracking for a new “Contact Us” feedback widget. An existing “Product Support” form will not receive its linked experiment until it is opened, edited, and saved.
Who can enable Form Analytics?
Users with the Support Administrator permission profile can enable it in Zoho Desk. Other users should not assume they can activate or alter this integration merely because they can view forms or reports.
Is a PageSense account required?
Yes. When Form Analytics is enabled, Zoho Desk automatically creates a Zoho PageSense account if one does not already exist. If a PageSense account already exists, Zoho Desk creates a new project linked to Zoho Desk within that existing account. Administrative access is assigned as part of the enablement flow.

The documented entitlement includes tracking for up to 5,000 visitors per month through a free Zoho PageSense account.
