Departments are the various divisions within a business. Most companies sort their workforce into departments based on the nature of their work— marketing, finance, HR, sales, support, and so on. Some also categorize departments based on geography, products, projects, processes, or other criteria.
Each department in Zoho Desk functions as an independent unit with its own inbox, channels, automation rules, processes, and teams. Dashboards and reports are also separate. This arrangement streamlines ticketing and simplifies help desk administration and management.
However, there are times when a manager wants to view data from all departments under one roof to identify overarching patterns or make universal decisions. This is where Radar's global dashboards come in. They depict data from all the departments in an organization, providing decision-makers with the sweeping big picture.
