What is a Business Service Provider (BSP)?
BSP is a third-party provider well-versed in the WhatsApp Business Platform. They can help you communicate with your customers on the WhatsApp Business Platform. Click here to read more.
Suppose you are not a techie but want to connect WhatsApp with your technology, such as a multi-channel inbox, customer support system or a Bot platform. You can work with a BSP (Business Service Provider) to manage these communications between your business and customers.

Yes, we support BSP-to-BSP migration. But it's a manual process, and please take a note of the conditions to complete the migration successfully.

- The messages sent/received during the migration process will be queued by Meta. And these messages will reflect once the migration is completed and a WhatsApp channel is created in Desk.
- The existing business conversations will not be migrated.
- The existing message templates cannot be used in Desk.
Steps for BSP to BSP Migration
- The existing (losing) WABA and the new (gaining) WABA must be under the same Facebook Business Account.
- The two-step verification (2FA) must be disabled for the phone number by your previous BSP. Please contact your previous provider to get this done.
- The Meta Business Manager account must be verified.
- Note: Messages and conversations will not be migrated. However, display name, quality rating, messaging limits, and OBA (Official Business Account) status will be retained.
- Existing templates will migrate but cannot be used in Desk. New templates must be created.
- Go to the Embedded SignUp widget in Zoho Desk.
- Select the appropriate Facebook Login.
- Choose the Facebook Business Account that owns the current WABA.
- Enter the Phone Number to be migrated. A warning will appear indicating it is already registered with another BSP.
- Proceed and verify the phone number using the preferred OTP method (SMS or voice call). This verification is essential to complete the migration.
- After successful migration, create a WhatsApp channel for the migrated number in Desk.
- This step is crucial to start sending and receiving messages without delay.
