Google Cloud Translation

Google Cloud Translation

Expand your form's reach by translating it into multiple languages with Google Cloud Translation. Whether you're collecting responses from a global audience or catering to users who prefer their native language, this setting ensures your forms are accessible to respondents across different regions and languages.

To use Google Cloud Translation for your forms, a Google Cloud Translation API Key must be added in Control Panel > Developer Space > Google Translation. The steps below explain how to add the API key in the Control Panel and also obtain it from Google Cloud Console.

Adding a Google Translation API Key in Control Panel

To translate your live forms using Google Cloud Translation, you must first add a Google Cloud Translation API key in the Control Panel. The key will be available for selection while setting up translation for your forms in form setttings. You can choose one of the added keys in the Control Panel. This key connects Zoho Forms to your Google Cloud Console and allows translation requests to be made on your behalf.

Once you add an API Key here, you can use it in your forms or share it with other users in your organization. Learn More

Google Cloud Translation Pricing and Free Tier

Google Cloud Translation provides 500,000 characters free every month which is equivalent to $20 worth of translation per month for new Google Cloud users. This free quota refreshes at the start of each month, so you can continue translating your forms at no cost as long as your usage stays within this limit.

You will only be charged if your usage exceeds 500,000 characters in a given month ($20 per 1 million characters thereafter).

Notes
Note: Even for the free tier, Google requires an active billing account and a credit card attached to your Google Cloud Project. You will not be charged as long as your monthly usage stays within 500,000 characters.
