Assigning Form Entries as Tasks
You can assign form entries as a task to the users in your organization. They will be able to update and edit all the fields of the assigned records (you can set
task permissions). They can leave comments, notify the admin as soon as the records are updated, and collaborate over form data.
Assume you're running a customer support team and you have a support request form on your website where customers can submit their issues or questions.
Based on the category or nature of the request captured in the form, you can convert form entries into tasks and
assign to a specific support agent with expertise in the relevant area (e.g., billing, technical issues, general inquiries). The support agent receives a notification to see the new support request submitted through the form as a task assigned to them.
To assign a form entry as a task to your user,
-
Go to the All Entries
section of your form.
-
Select the records you want to assign to a particular user.
-
Click Assign Task
on the top of the page.

-
In the pop-up, select the user to whom you wish to assign the task. By default, the user will be notified that a task has been assigned. If you do not want to notify the user, uncheck the Notify User
option.
-
You can change the default
Message
of the notification as required.
-
Click the Assign & Notify option.
You can also assign the entries of your reports as tasks. To do so, click the
