Respondent Location

Respondent Location Settings

To collect your form respondent's location details, navigate to Settings > General.
Under Respondent Location, you can choose to collect the IP address and location coordinates of your respondents when they submit your form.

Geolocation   

Enable the geolocation option to capture your respondent's location with the longitude and latitude coordinates when they submit your form.

Collect respondent's IP Address    

Select Yes to collect your respondents' IP address when they submit your form.

Viewing respondent location details   

To view the IP Address of your respondents and their location details collected via Respondent Location option,

  1. Go to the Report of your Form. If you have not created a Report for the required form, create a new Report.
  2. In the Report Builder, click Show/Hide Columns and select IP address.
  3. To view geolocation details, select Submitters Location, Submitters Latitude, and Submitters Longitude.
  4. Click Save.
The Report entries will have dedicated columns for IP address, Submitters Location, Submitters Latitude, and Submitters Longitude.
Note: The geolocation of a respondent cannot be captured if the form is embedded on your website.
