Every time you
import data into Zoho FSM, a record of that import is saved to
Import History. This gives you a single place to review what was brought in, when, and by whom—and to check exactly how each import was processed. From Import History you can see the outcome of every import at a glance, drill into the individual records that were added, updated, or skipped, download a report explaining why any records were skipped, and revert an import if you need to undo the changes.

View Import History
To view the import history:
- Navigate to Setup > Data Administration > Data Import and go to the Import History section.
A list of all imports is displayed, with the following details for each entry:
Column | Description |
File Name | The name of the import file |
Module | The module the import was performed for |
Imported On | The date and time the import took place |
Imported By | The name of the user who performed the import |
Status | The status of the import. Possible values are Scheduled, Completed, Revert Scheduled, and Reverted. |
Total | The total number of rows in the imported CSV file |
- Click a row to open the Import History Details overlay. The results are organized under three tabs:
- Added: All entries from the CSV that were successfully added as new records.
- Updated: All entries from the CSV that were successfully updated in existing records.
- Skipped: All entries from the CSV that were skipped during the import.

When Address records are imported along with their parent records, both are displayed on the details page.
- To understand why records were skipped, download the error report. This report lists each skipped record along with the reason it was skipped, and is available in two places:
- Inside the Import History Details overlay.

- By hovering over an individual row in the import list and clicking the Download [
] icon.

If an import has no skipped records, the Download icon is disabled when you hover over its row.
- If needed, you can undo an import from this screen. Refer to the Revert Import section for details.
Note: Import details are retained for six days. Imports older than seven days will still appear in the list, but their detailed breakdown will no longer be available.
Revert Import
If an import produced unwanted results, you can undo it by reverting the import. Reverting removes all records that were added by that import.
Note: You can revert an import until six days from the time of import. Revert is not available if every record in the import was skipped, since no records were added to remove. When a parent record is reverted, all associated child records (addresses) are reverted automatically.
To revert an import:
- Navigate to Setup > Data Administration > Data Import and go to the Import History section.
- Click the row of the import you want to undo. In the Import History Details overlay, select Revert from the Download dropdown.

- Click Revert in the confirmation message.

After you revert
- All records that were added by the import are removed from the system.
- When the revert is complete, you'll be notified by both an in-app message and an email.
- After a revert, opening the entry displays only the Skipped records. A record is skipped when it is already used in a work order or another transaction, and therefore cannot be removed.
