When a product is associated to a model, its datapoint definitions are used as templates for the associated model. These products help in categorizing and filtering instances effectively.
For example, the CONVERZ EM6400NG+ device product is featured in the device gallery. This device includes datapoint definitions such as Power Factor, Active Energy, and Average Current. It also has configuration data indicating that the device supports Peripheral Communication via Gateway. These datapoint definitions are then utilized as templates and definitions in the associated device model and the resulting device instance, which will have device connectivity configured as Peripheral Communication via Gateway.
Zoho IoT applications feature two types of products:
