Connectivity Guide: Chirpstack V4

LoRa devices (LoRa nodes) registered in ChirpStack V4 LoRaWAN Network Servers can be monitored in Zoho IoT applications through datastream integrations.

Prerequisites

Before proceeding with the integration, ensure you have:
  1. Access to the Zoho IoT Application.
  2. A datastream for ChirpStack created in the Zoho IoT Application.
  3. An active ChirpStack account with access to the ChirpStack Console.

Configure the Integration in the The Things Stack console

  1. Open the ChirpStack Console.

  2. Click Applications under the Tenant section in the left navigation pane.

  3. Click the application you want to integrate with your Zoho IoT setup. For this illustration, the Smart Building application is selected

  4. Select the Integrations tab.

  5. Scroll down and find the HTTP option and click the + icon.

  6. Select JSON in the Payload encoding field.

  7. Copy and paste the URL Param Implementation value from the Data Stream’s Endpoint Usage connection details into the Event Endpoint URL(s) field.

  8. Click Submit.

The integration with the Zoho IoT application via Data Stream is complete.

When a device managed by the ChirpStack LNS sends a message, it will be received by the Zoho IoT application as well and can be viewed in the integrated data stream's messages tab.

With the datastream integration complete, you can now proceed to use this datastream while adding a LoRa device or update this datastream to a LoRa device already added in the Zoho IoT application and begin monitoring it.
