We can now create a device in the Zoho IOT application to represent this ESP32. This device created by the application will have the necessary credentials to establish a connection between the real world ESP32 and the Zoho IOT application.

Note: Make sure you've signed up for Zoho IoT and have created a Zoho IoT application.

To create/register a device,

1. Access the End Application.
2. Select Devices > Devices in the left pane.
3. Click Add Device.
4. Select Add By Defining Your Own Product and click Proceed.
   
   
   
   
5. Provide the following details in the Product Details Page and click Add.
   
   
   
   
6. Click Add Datapoint Definitions.
   
   
   
   
7. Click Add New Datapoint Group.
   
   
   
   
8. Select Import From Gallery and click Next.
   
   
   
   
9. Select Environmental Monitoring and click Import.
   
   
   
   
10. Select Soil Moisture and click Import.
    
    
    
    
11. Click Proceed.
    
12. Determine the model you wish to use:
    

If it's your first time accessing the application or you have not added any model in the application, you will only have the Model field. Provide a name of your choice for the device model. For this illustration, "ESP Gateway" is given.



If you had already added a device model, you will have a toggle option

Toggle to Create a new model and provide a name of your choice. For this illustration, "ESP Gateway" is given.
