Segment summary
Segment summary gives you various reports on how contacts in a particular segments are performing in terms of associated activities, contact stages, contact sources etc. Using these insights, you can construct proper marketing propaganda for each segment thereby increasing chances of contacts conversion. You can also refine or repurpose segments based on these data.
How to view contacts in a segment?
Under Contacts menu in the Navigation Toolbar to the left, select Segments.
Click on the segment and click on Contacts tab. A page containing contacts records will be displayed.
How to view the segments summary?
- Under Contacts menu in the Navigation Toolbar to the left, select Segments.
- Click on the segment you wish to see the summary of. A page containing the data of the contacts in the segment will be displayed.
Understanding Segment Summary
You can choose to view the data for all contacts, Known contacts or Anonymous contacts of the segment.
Overall stats
- Known Contacts: Number of contacts who have opted-in for communication.
- Anonymous Contacts: Number of contacts whose basic details are unknown. We track them using cookies.
- Total Sessions: Number of sessions the contacts (both known and anonymous) were active for.
- Average Session Duration: The average time a session was active for.
Segment growth by time
This graph gives you the number of contacts added to the segment in the selected time range.
Associated entities
Contacts Status
- Opt-in: Number of contacts from the segment who have subscribed to your service through opt-in method.
- Bounced: Number of contacts who bounced.
- Unsubscribed: Number of contacts from the segment who have unsubscribed.
Contacts Split
This graph gives you the number of contacts of the segment split by their level of reachability.
Website Stats
This section gives you the average sessions and its duration of known and anonymous contacts.
Contacts by Stage
This graph gives you the number of contacts of the segment present in different Contact Stages.
Contact by Source
This graph gives you the source wise concentration of contacts present in the segment.
Contacts by Email Service Providers
This chart compares the usage of different email service providers by the contacts in the segment.
Contacts by Location
You will be able to know the geographical positioning of the contacts in a segment. This way, you will know the concentration of contacts at different locations.
