- You'll have to send WhatsApp messages to at least 1,000 contacts per day using the respective WhatsApp Business account. This will increase your chance of getting the green tick badge because it indicates to WhatsApp that you are making the right use of the platform for business. - Verify your WhatsApp Business Account on Meta Business Manager. To do so:
(a) Create a business account in Meta Business Manager if you don't already have one. Learn more
(b) If you already have a business account in Meta Business Manager, login to the account, click Business Settings >> Security Centre >> Start Verification. Apply for the WhatsApp green tick badge through Meta
Once you've completed the above steps, you can apply for the WhatsApp green tick badge through Meta. To do so:
- Log in to your Meta Business Manager account, then go to Business Settings.
- Click WhatsApp Accounts, then WhatsApp Manager.
- Under Account Tools, choose phone number.
- Click the Settings icon on the next page with your WhatsApp Business account details.
- Click Profile, then enter all the relevant details.
- Click Submit Request. Once submitted, your request will be under the review status.
Note:
Meta takes a few days to review your request. If your request gets through, you can see the green tick badge beside your WhatsApp display.
