Topics is a feature that helps you organize your contacts according to their preferences, so you can send them email campaigns relevant to their interests. You can
associate your contacts with topics, and persuade new contacts to select their preferences while signing up.
After associating contacts with a topic, you can view the list of contacts associated with a topic in the following places:
Using filter under View Contacts
- Contact detail view (preferable to view topic associated with a single contact)
- After creating a segment
The following content describes how to view the list of contacts associated with a topic as listed above.
In View Contacts, you can also sort contacts by filtering them based on certain criteria. Set the criteria as contact associated with a topic to view the resultant list of contacts.
- From the Navigation Toolbar, choose Contacts and select View Contacts.
- In View Contacts page, click the filter icon.

- Navigate to Advanced tab and select the required topic as shown in the image.

- Click Apply.
This method is preferable to view topics associated with a single contact.
- From Navigation Toolbar, click Contacts and select View Contacts.
- Click on one of the contacts.
- Navigate to Subscription tab.
Check under Topics to view topics associated with the contact.

Creating a segment
You can separate contacts based on the associated topic to view the list of contacts associated with the selected topic.
- From the Navigation Toolbar, choose Contacts and select View Contacts.
- In View Contacts page, click the filter icon.

- Navigate to Advanced tab and select the required topic as shown in the image.

- Click Save as segment.
