Associate profile

You can create one or more profiles and associate them to the required devices or groups. Once you associate a profile to the device, all restrictions and policies configured within that profile will be applied to that device. For example, if the profile had a passcode policy configured, the users can only access their devices using passcodes.

Note: When multiple profiles are associated to the device, profile will be applied to that device based on the profile priority.

The steps to associate a profile vary between the three User Interface versions supported in Zoho One. Select the UI version you use from the tabs below and proceed with the steps that follow:

To associate a profile to a device:

Sign in to Zoho One, then click the Admin Panel icon on the top-right corner.
Click Devices on the left menu.
Select MDM, the Devices tab opens by default.
Select the required device.
Click Associated Profiles tab, and then click +Associate Profiles.
Select the required profiles.
Click Associate Profiles.

To associate a profile to a group:

Sign in to Zoho One, then click the Admin Panel icon on the top-right corner.
Click User Management on the left menu.
Select Groups.
Click on the required group, then click the Device Profiles tab.
Click Associate Profiles, then select the required profile(s).
Click Associate Profiles.

Sign in to Zoho One, then click the Directory Settings icon on the top-right corner.
Click Devices on the left menu.
Select MDM, the Devices tab opens by default.
Select the required device.
Click Associated Profiles tab, and then click +Associate Profiles.
Select the required profiles.
Click Associate Profiles.

To associate a profile to a group:

Sign in to Zoho One, then click the Directory Settings icon on the top-right corner.
Click User Management on the left menu.
Select Groups.
Click on the required group, then click the Device Profiles tab.
Click Associate Profiles, then select the required profile(s).
Click Associate Profiles.

To associate a profile to a device:

Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
Go to Device management.
Go to the Devices tab, then click on the required device.
Click the Associated Profiles tab, then click Associate Profiles.
Select the required profiles.
Click Associate Profiles.

To associate a profile to a group:

Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
Click Groups in the left menu.
Click on the required group, then click the Device Profiles tab.
Click Associate Profile, then select the required profile(s).
Click Associate Profile.
