Integrate Zoho Connect with Zoho People
Overview
This integration facilitates dynamic Group membership for every department and designation field in Zoho People. Every time a new member is added to a department or listed under a particular designation in Zoho People, they are automatically added to the respective Zoho Connect Group. User data that are relevant to user profile fields in Zoho Connect will be synced.
This includes name, seating location, work location, mobile number, date of birth, extension, work phone, nickname, gender, designation, department, and reporting-to information.
The steps to integrate vary between the two User Interface versions supported in Zoho One. Select the UI version you use from the tabs below and proceed with the steps that follo
Spaces UI
To enable the integration,
- Sign in to Zoho One.
- Click
on the top right corner, then click Integrations.
- Click Integrations in the tab at the top.
- Click the app you want to integrate with, then click Available; all the available integrations will be listed, click Enable.
Integration will be enabled only after configuration is completed.
Incomplete configurations will be listed under Pending Actions.
Follow the steps mentioned in the link to
configure.
To deactivate the integration,
- Sign in to Zoho One.
- Click
on the top right corner, then click Integrations.
- Click Integrations in the tab at the top.
- Click the required app, hover over the integration you want to delete, click
, then click Deactivate.
- Read the confirmation message and click Deactivate.
While performing sensitive actions, you will need to periodically re-authenticate.
You can activate the integration later by clicking Activate.
To delete the integration,
- Sign in to Zoho One.
- Click
on the top right corner, then click Integrations.
- Click Integrations in the tab at the top.
- Click the required app, hover over the integration you want to delete, click
, then click Delete.
- Read the confirmation message and click Delete.
Delete is an irreversible action.You will need to re-enable and configure the integration to use it again.
Unified UI
To enable the integration,
- Sign in to Zoho One.
- Click Directory in the left navigation menu, then click Integrations.
- Click Integrations in the tab at the top.
- Click the app you want to integrate with, then click Available; all the available integrations will be listed, click Enable.
Note:
Integration will be enabled only after configuration is completed.
