The steps to buy numbers vary between the two User Interface versions supported in Zoho One. Select the UI version you use from tabs below and proceed with the steps that follow.
Spaces UI
- Sign in to Zoho One, then click
in the top-right corner. - Click Marketplace in the left menu.
- Click Learn More below the Telephony section.
- Click Set Up Now.
- Click Buy a Number.

Select the Country and Number Type. There are four different types of number:
- Local numbers: Local numbers are mostly given to individuals or local businesses.
Local numbers depend on the geographic location and are distinguished
with a three digit area code.
- National numbers: National numbers are mostly taken by large businesses. They do not depend on any region.
- Mobile numbers: Mobile numbers are used by individuals within a particular area, and are only accessible within the country.
- Toll free numbers: Toll free numbers are used by businesses and are free of cost for the
caller. Similar to the area code in the local number, toll free numbers
also have codes like 800, 888, 877, 866, 855, 844, and 833.
- If requested, choose your address or create a new address.
An address is required to purchase and use phone numbers from
Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Columbia, France, Grenada, Greece, Japan,
Mexico, New Zealand, Romania, Slovakia, South Africa, Switzerland, and
Vietnam. - If requested, choose an approved regulatory detail or create a new regulatory detail and send it for approval.
Numbers can only be bought after the regulatory detail has been approved. - Choose an available phone number, then click Next.
