Manage Extended App Subscriptions

Extended App subscriptions are generally managed through Zoho One. Zoho Voice is the current exception because its subscription is purchased and managed through the Zoho Voice service. See Zoho Voice-specific behaviour below.

From the Zoho One store:
  1. Increasing the license count makes additional seats available immediately.
  2. Decreasing the license count may remove user access. The exact outcome depends on the app. For example, see Plan Changes for Zoho Voice below

Zoho Voice-specific behaviour

Zoho Voice differs from other Extended Apps. Its subscription is purchased and managed directly through the Zoho Voice service.

Add-on creation
The Zoho Voice add-on is created in Zoho One when Zoho Voice is added or an existing Zoho Voice account is migrated into Zoho One.

All plan changes (upgrade/downgrade) are managed in the Zoho Voice store.

Trial expiry for Zoho Voice

When you add Zoho Voice for the first time, a 15-day trial account is created automatically. The trial begins immediately.
  1. A single email notification is sent when the trial expires. No alert emails are sent before expiry.
  2. When the trial expires:
    1. Your organization is automatically moved to the Solo plan of Zoho Voice, which supports one user.
    2. All users except the administrator are deactivated automatically. The administrator retains full access.
  3. To continue using Zoho Voice with multiple users, you must upgrade to a paid plan from the Zoho Voice store before the trial ends.

Plan changes for Zoho Voice

Any plan change you make in the Zoho Voice store is reflected automatically in Zoho One.
  1. Upgrade: Additional seats become available immediately. You can assign Zoho Voice to new users right away.
  2. Downgrade: If the number of active users exceeds the new plan limit, all users except the administrator are automatically deactivated. The administrator can then manually reactivate users, up to the new license limit.
