What is On Duty?

The term "on duty" indicates the status of an employee who is actively working outside of their usual office setting, such as at a client's premises, a project site, or from a remote location like their home.

Configuring On Duty

To enable and configure on duty, go to Settings > Attendance > Configuration > On Duty.

Here you can configure the duration of on duty that employees are entitled to apply. On duty types can also be managed here.

Finally, you can make reasons mandatory, and restrict on duty requests for future dates.

You can setup an approval process for on duty requests from the Approvals tab.
