Performance - Permissions
This page allows you to assign and manage administrators for the Performance service in your organization. You can configure record and field permissions, control import and export rights, and manage tabular section permissions for Performance forms in Zoho People.
Performance Administrators
Select admin-role users to assign as Performance administrators. They will have full access to Performance data, reports, and settings to manage the Performance service. Other administrators will not have administrative permissions and be reassigned to the selected Zoho People roles for the performance service.
Module Administrators
To set Performance module based administrators:
- Navigate to Settings > Performance > Permissions > Performance Administrators, and enable Module Administrators.
- In the Performance module administrators field, select any admin-role users as Performance administrators.
- In Role for other administrators, select the role to which the other administrators should be switched.
Allow Continuous Review and Performance Data Access to Selected Users
In addition to module administrators, you can grant specific employees access to continuous review data, performance data and reports.
To do this, enable Allow access to continuous review, performance data, and reports for selected users and assign the required permissions for data and reports to specific users.
You can use the Add Custom Admin option to select a user from an employee form field, such as emplolyee's Secondary Reporting Manager, Mentor, Appraisal Facilitator, etc.
You can also allow reporting managers to view their reportees’ past appraisal history, which includes past performance ratings and reviews.
Setting up Performance Data Permissions
You can configure record and field permissions to allow general or specific roles to view, edit, add, and delete performance appraisal, self-appraisal data, and custom forms data.
In addition, you can set import and export permissions, as well as form tabular section permissions (available only for Custom Forms).
