SDP Releases for Zoho Projects

The ServiceDesk Plus Releases extension facilitates centralized release management by associating releases with projects and tasks. This provides enhanced visibility, improved coordination, and faster execution. It minimizes manual effort and aligns IT and project teams by supporting structured tracking, reducing risks, and ensures real-time sync with bi-directional updates.  

Install ServiceDesk Plus Releases for Zoho Projects

  1. Click  in the top-right corner of the top navigation band.
  2. Navigate to Marketplace and click Extensions.
  3. Search for and click SDP Releases for Zoho Projects.
  4. Click Install.

Establish Connection in Zoho Projects

  1. Click  in the top-right corner of the top navigation band.
  2. Navigate to Marketplace > Installed Apps.
  3. Click SDP Releases for Zoho Projects, and then click Connections.
  4. Hover over the extension and click Connect.
  5. Click Connect and then click Accept in the authentication prompt to authorize the connection.

Configure the SDP Portal in Zoho Projects

  1. Click   in the top-right corner of the top navigation band.
  2. Navigate to Marketplace > Installed Apps.
  3. Click SDP Releases for Zoho Projects, then click Configuration.
  4. Enter the ServiceDesk Plus Portal Name and click Save Configuration.

Associate Release to a Project

  1. Navigate to your project and click  to view more tabs in the top navigation bar.
  2. Click SDP Releases from the options.
  3. Click Associate Releases, search for or enter the request name, then click Associate.
    Click the associated release to open it in your SDP portal.

Disassociate Release from a Project

  1. Navigate to your project and click  to view more tabs in the top navigation bar.
  2. Click SDP Releases from the options.
  3. Hover over the request and click   to disassociate it.

Associate Release to a Task

  1. Navigate to your project. Click Tasks in the top navigation bar.
  2. Open the task, scroll down, and click  to view extensions.
  3. Select SDP Releases and click Associate Release.
  4. Search for or enter the release name and click Associate.
    Click the associated release to open it in your SDP portal.

Disassociate Release from a Task

  1. Navigate to your project. Click Tasks in the top navigation bar.
  2. Open the task, scroll down, and click to view extensions.
  3. Select SDP Releases, hover over the associated request, then click   to disassociate it.

Disable SDP Extension

  1. Click  in the top-right corner.
  2. Navigate to Marketplace > Installed Apps.
  3. Hover over SDP Releases for Zoho Projects.
  4. Click Disable.
    To re-enable the extension, click Enable.
