ServiceDesk Plus Changes for Zoho Projects

The ServiceDesk Plus Changes extension facilitates centralized change management by associating change requests with projects and tasks. This provides enhanced visibility, improved coordination, and faster execution. It minimizes manual effort and aligns IT and project teams by supporting structured tracking, reducing risks, and ensures real-time sync with bi-directional updates.  

Install ServiceDesk Plus Changes for Zoho Projects

  1. Click  in the top-right corner of the top navigation band.
  2. Navigate to Marketplace and click Extensions.
  3. Search for and click SDP Changes for Zoho Projects.
  4. Click Install.

Establish Connection in Zoho Projects

  1. Click  in the top-right corner of the top navigation band.
  2. Navigate to Marketplace > Installed Apps.
  3. Click SDP Changes for Zoho Projects, and then click Connections.
  4. Hover over the extension and click Connect.
  5. Click Connect and then click Accept in the authentication prompt to authorize the connection.

Configure the SDP Portal in Zoho Projects

  1. Click   in the top-right corner of the top navigation band.
  2. Navigate to Marketplace > Installed Apps.
  3. Click SDP Changes for Zoho Projects, then click Configuration.
  4. Enter the ServiceDesk Plus Portal Name and click Save Configuration.

Associate Change to a Project

  1. Navigate to your project and click  to view more tabs in the top navigation bar.
  2. Click SDP Changes from the options.
  3. Click Associate Change, search for or enter the change name, then click Associate.
    Click the associated change to open it in your SDP portal.

Dissociate Change from a Project

  1. Navigate to your project and click  to view more tabs in the top navigation bar.
  2. Click SDP Changes from the options.
  3. Hover over the change and click   to disassociate it.

Associate Change to a Task

  1. Navigate to your project. Click Tasks in the top navigation bar.
  2. Open the task, scroll down, and click  to view extensions.
  3. Select SDP Changes and click Associate Change.
  4. Search for or enter the change name and click Associate.
    Click the associated change to open it in your SDP portal.

Disassociate Change from a Task

  1. Navigate to your project. Click Tasks in the top navigation bar.
  2. Open the task, scroll down, and click to view extensions.
  3. Select SDP Changes, hover over the associated change, then click   to disassociate it.

Disable SDP Extension

  1. Click  in the top-right corner.
  2. Navigate to Marketplace > Installed Apps.
  3. Hover over SDP Changes for Zoho Projects.
  4. Click Disable.
    To re-enable the extension, click Enable.
