1. Track time logs and work hours in a single view.
   
2. Add and update work hours directly from the grid.

Use case

1. In an architecture project, architects can log work hours against their assigned tasks and issues directly from the Grid view.
   
2. A senior architect can review the logged hours and make corrections without navigating away from the grid.
   
3. The billing team can use the grid to review billable hours before preparing client invoices.
   

1. Go to Time Logs in the left navigation pane
2. Select Grid from the view dropdown
   
3. In the global Time Logs module, select View by Project or View by User
   
1. To view time logs for a specific project, go to the project and select Time Logs
4. Select Grid from the view dropdown and choose View by Module or View by User.
   

Add Time Log

1. Go to Time Log in the left navigation pane.
   
2. Select the Grid view from view drop-down and choose View by Project or View by User.
   
3. Scroll to the project or user and click on the field to Add Time Log and select the task or issue.
   Recommended: Shows the pinned and recent time logs. if user is currently in the month range, then the tasks/issues which have time logs in the previous month will be displayed. Pin Time log to view in recommended tab.
   Add filters to make your search more specific.
4. Enter hours in the grids adjacent to the selected task or issue. After entering a value for a date, press tab on the keyboard to continue entering values for the next date on the grid. The changes will be automatically saved 5 seconds after the last tab press, provided there is no further activity.
   

Manage Time Log

1. Hover over the time log, click  and
   
1. Select View Details to go to the details page.
   
2. Select Copy Link to copy the time log URL.
   
3. Select Trash to move the time log to trash.
   
1. Time logs can also be trashed from their details page. Click  in the top-right corner of the time log's details page and select Trash.
   

Time Logs Summary

The Summary Bar displays a summary of the time logs for the selected date range. You can choose the type of information displayed in the Summary Bar from Summary Information. The summary can be based on total, billable, or non-billable hours, days, or percentage.

To view the time log summary:

1. Navigate to Time Logs in the left navigation pane.
2. Switch to Grid view.
3. Click the () summary icon on the right side of the grid.
4. Enable Summary Bar.
5. Under Summary Information, select the required value to display in the Summary Bar.
   

The Summary Bar updates based on the selected Summary Information

Display Type

Display Type determines how time logs are organized in the Grid view. The available Display Type options depend on the selected View By option.

• When View by Project is selected, you can choose Module or Project.
• When View by User is selected, you can choose Module or User.

Edit Time Log

1. Expand the task to view the added time logs.
   
2. Select the time log grid you wish to edit.
   
3. Make the changes and click Enter/ Return.
   

Filter Time Logs 

Time logs can be filtered to view as per selected criteria. Clickin the top-right corner to view filter options. Apply to view time logs as per the filters.
