ResearchStudio allows you to customize the charts' appearance inserted in your insights and reports to make them more impactful.
You can customize the following aspects of charts inserted in insights or reports:
- Chart Style: Change the color set used for the chart.
- Border and background: Apply/remove borders and background colors.
- Opacity: Increase/decrease transparency as needed.
- Wrap Type: Set wrap type to fix the chart's position as needed with respect to the text/content near it.
- Chart Title and Axis: Specify a title for the chart, horizontal and vertical axes.
- Legends: Specify whether the legends have to be displayed and their position.
- Data Labels: Choose whether you wish to display both the data label and their values or just either of them, and when showing values, choose whether you wish to show the actual value or show it as a percentage.
- Grid lines: Show/hide grid lines in X and Y axes.
Steps to customize a chart's appearance:
- Click Projects in the left pane and choose your desired project.
- Click Insights or Reports under the Share Findings menu.
- Open your desired insight or report and click the chart you wish to customize.
- In the Chart tab that opens in the left pane, customize the chart according to your needs.
