Filtering and visualizing data with charts

Overview

ResearchStudio allows you to filter and analyze your data using the highlight and segment tags and visualize the results in the form of charts to find insights and meaningful trends.
ResearchStudio supports the following type of analysis:
  1. All Tags: Displays your project's highlight tags along with its count (based on the number of observations that you've applied the tags to)
  2. Demographic analytics: Perform analysis on your tags based on individual segments.
  3. Comprehensive analytics: Examine user data across various areas to uncover meaningful feedback.
  4. Segmental analytics: Compares two or more types of values to identify similarities or differences.
  5. Top N / Bottom N analytics: Displays the top N/ bottom N tags based on a criteria.
Steps to analyze your data:
  1. Open your desired project from the Projects tab in ResearchStudio.
  2. Click the Charts tab under the Analyze data section. It will display all the tags and their corresponding count (based on the number of observations that you've applied the tags to). Note: By default, the analysis type will be All Tags, and the chart will be Bar Chart.
  3. Click the drop-down next to Choose an analysis type.
  4. Choose your preferred analysis type from the list of options displayed.
  5. In the analysis dialog box that opens, configure filters by clicking Add Filter, and add the required conditions. Note: You can apply filters only for the Comprehensive and Segmental analysis types.
  6. To change the chart type, click the charts icon, located next to the analysis type drop-down, and choose the desired chart type.
  7. Click the palette icon and pick the desired color scheme for your chart.
  8. To save the chart to your collection, click the Add to Charts Library icon located at the top right corner and select Add to chart collection. Note: You can name your chart in the Add to chart collection dialog box or in the Enter name of the chart text box above the chart.
