In RouteIQ, routes are shared among users in your organization based on the hierarchy preference setup in Zoho CRM. Learn more.
There are types of hierarchy preferences:
Role Hierarchy
Reporting Hierarchy
With Role Hierarchy, all users with a higher role can always access the routes of a user at a lower level. Learn more.
For example: all Sales Managers can access all the Sales Reps' routes, whereas Sales Reps can access only their records.
Note: A user with the sales manager role will be able to view the routes of a sales rep even if they're not the reporting manager of the sales rep.
If Share Data with Peers is enabled for the role, users with the same role will be able to access each other's data.
For example: all the Sales reps can access each other's routes.
Reporting hierarchy lets you control data sharing better. Routes can be accessed up the hierarchy level by the reporting managers. Learn more.
For example: A sales rep's routes can be accessed by their reporting manager (sales manager), but other sales managers can't access this sales rep's routes. This access hierarchy is followed till the CEO.
