Creating Zoho CRM Meeting for Routes and Stops

RouteIQ can automatically create meetings in Zoho CRM for routes and stops when created in RouteIQ and view them in your calendar. With this, you can block the time when you will be visiting customers or traveling to prevent overlapping in planning other meetings.

Enable Zoho CRM Meetings for Routes and Stops

  1. Open the RouteIQ settings menu
  2. Click on Route and Stop Preferences
  3. Here you can select between routes, route stops or both.
Route and Stop Preferences

Creating a Zoho CRM meeting for a route:

When this option is enabled and you create a route, your calendar in Zoho CRM gets automatically blocked for the entirety of your route's duration. This way you can avoid any overlaps between your day in the field and other work tasks that are scheduled for the same time slots. These meetings begin with "RIQ_RT"

Creating a Zoho CRM meeting for a route stop:

Similarly, when this option is enabled for a route stop, the same calendar gets blocked for the time it takes you to complete your work at that particular stop. You can see the difference in naming in this screenshot below. These meetings begin with the number and name of your route stop.

Idea
Custom views and filter can be created for routes which start with criteria "RIQ_RT" and for stops by using ends with "RIQ_ST"
Notes

When a user checks in to a stop via Zoho CRM, it automatically logs the Google Maps location URL, along with the timestamp and username of the person who checked in. In case you have enabled restricted check-in/out, RouteIQ further authenticates this check-in as either verified, unverified or invalid depending upon that check-in.

This helps you:

1. See exactly where the check-in occurred
2. Know when it happened
3. Identify who performed the check-in

4. Verify the authenticity of the check-in
