Enable shift confirmation

You can use Shift confirmation in Zoho Shifts to ensure employees are aware of their assigned shifts before they show up for work.

Before you start

To enable shift confirmation for your organization, you'll need the Administrator access level or the Manage account and other settings permission enabled.

To enable shift confirmation

  1. Navigate to the Settings menu in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Preferences under the Schedule section.
  3. Scroll to the Shift Confirmation section and enable Employee confirmation required for shifts.
  4. Click Save.

To view shift confirmation status  

After enabling shift confirmation, the confirmation status appears in the Schedule Editor. If an employee has not acknowledged a shift, a message is shown on the shift card when you hover over it. Employees can confirm their shifts on both the web and mobile apps.

For managers, a triangle indicator also appears on the shift card to highlight unacknowledged shifts. Once the employee confirms the shift, the indicator will be removed. This helps managers quickly identify unacknowledged shifts and follow up before the shift starts.
