Add text to a slide

Most slides contain placeholders to enter text. A text box allows you to place text anywhere on the slide. You can use a text box to name a table or chart, to insert text inside a shape, or as the title of a video. The Show app for Android also provides Currency, Punctuation, Arrow, Math & Science, and other Miscellaneous symbols to add to your slides.

 

Add text box:

  1. Open the required slide, then tap the insert icon  in the top-right corner.



  2. Tap the Text icon  at the bottom. This will by default open with TEXT BOX by default.

  1. Tap the desired text box style to add it to the slide.


  1. Adjust the size of the text box by dragging the pointer at the edges.

You can also move and rotate the text box.

Add Twemoji

The Twemoji add-on for the Show app for Android offers various emojis under different categories to enhance your presentations. 

  1. Open the required slide, then tap the insert icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Tap Text from the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap TWEMOJI at the top next to TEXT BOX.


  4. Tap to select the required Twemoji.
  5. Adjust the pointers to resize and position the Twemoji.


 
Add currency symbol

 

The Show for Android app offers various currency symbols to add to your presentations.

  1. Open the required slide, then tap the insert icon  in the top-right corner. 

  2. Tap Text  from the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap CURRENCY at the top next to TWEMOJI.


  4. Tap to select the required currency symbol.

  5. Adjust the pointers to resize and position the symbol.


 Add punctuation

 

With Zoho Show app for Android, you can add different types of punctuation to your slide.  

  1. Open the required slide, then tap the insert icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Tap Text from the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap PUNCTUATION at the top next to CURRENCY.

  4. Tap to select the required punctuation.

  5. Adjust the pointers to resize and position the punctuation.

 Add arrow to a slide.

 

The Show app for Android offers both line and block arrows to include to your slide.

  1. Open the required slide and tap the insert icon  in the top-right corner.

  2. Tap Text from the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap ARROW at the top next to PUNCTUATION.


  4. Tap to select the required arrow to add it to your slide.

  5. Adjust the pointers to resize and position the arrow anywhere in your slide.

 

 Add math & science symbols to a slide:

 

From addition and subtraction symbols to sigma, omega and pi symbols, Show for Android app offers various symbols for you to choose from.


  1. Open the required slide and tap the insert icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Tap Text from the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap MATH & SCIENCE at the top next to ARROW.


  4. Tap to select the required symbol.

  5. Adjust the pointers to resize and position the symbol anywhere in your slide.

 

 Add miscellaneous symbols to a slide:

 

In addition to the above-mentioned symbols, Show app for Android lets you add other symbols as well.


  1. Open the required slide, then tap the insert icon  in the top-right corner.

  2. Tap Text from the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap MISCELLANEOUS at the top next to MATH & SCIENCE.

  4. Tap to select the required symbol.

  5. Adjust the pointers to resize and position the symbol anywhere on the slide.
