Connect your social media channels directly via the Zoho Social App for Android
With Zoho Social App for android, you can connect 10 different types of social media channels right from your Zoho Social mobile app. These include:
- Facebook Pages
- X Profiles
- Instagram Professional Accounts
- LinkedIn Profiles
- LinkedIn Company Pages
- Youtube
- Google Business Profiles
- Pinterest Profiles
- TikTok Profiles
- Threads Profiles
- Bluesky Profiles
- Mastodon account
Whether you're a first-time user setting things up from scratch or an existing user looking to add more channels or create a new brand, you can complete the entire setup process right from your mobile device.
Signing up and creating a Brand
If you're using Zoho Social for the first time, sign in and a portal will be created for you automatically. This portal houses all your brands. A Brand is a collection of social media channels that are all managed through a single dashboard. You can add one of each type of channel to a Brand.
To sign up
- Click Sign up.
- Enter your name, email address, and phone number.
- Set a password
- Click Sign up
- Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number and click Verify.
To create a brand
- Click Configure channels.
- Select the ➕ icon next to any social channel to connect it.
Note:
- A brand will only be created after you connect at least one social media channel to it.
Here’s how you can connect your social media channels using the Zoho Social mobile app
Note:
- You must have admin access to the brand in Zoho Social to connect social media channels.
Connect Facebook
- Navigate to Brand icon → Brand settings → Social accounts.
Tap the ➕ next to Facebook.
- Log in to the Facebook account that has your Facebook Page connected to it by providing the username and password. If you've already logged in to Facebook, switch to or select the profile you want to connect.
- Choose the right page you want to connect to Social from the list of pages associated with the account.
- Click Okay to add the page to Social.
Note:
- To connect a Facebook account, you must have admin access to the Facebook Page.
Connect X
- Navigate to Brand icon → Brand settings → Social accounts.
- Tap the ➕ next to X.
- Enter you login credentials for X.
- Click on Authorize App to authorize Zoho Social to access your X profile.
- Click Okay to add the account to Social.
Connect LinkedIn
Note:
- To connect your LinkedIn account to Social, you must have super admin privileges in your LinkedIn account. Learn more about admin roles in LinkedIn
- You can connect both your LinedIn Profile and Company Page
- Tap the Brand icon → Brand settings → Social accounts.
- Tap the ➕ next to LinkedIn.
- Log in to your LinkedIn account by providing the username and password.
- Read the permissions pop-up and click Allow to allow Zoho Social to access your LinkedIn account.
- Select the desired LinkedIn profile you want to add to Social. If you're connecting your LinkedIn page, select the page from the list of associated pages.
- Click Add.
- Click Okay to add the account to Social.

Connect Instagram
To connect your Instagram account to Zoho Social, make sure it's a Professional account (either a Business or Creator account).
There are two ways to connect your Instagram account:
- Connect via Instagram - Use your Instagram credential to login
- Connect via Facebook - Use your Facebook credentials to login
Important
- If you're connecting through Facebook, your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Page. The Facebook account you're using must also have admin permissions for that page. Read more
- Navigate to Brand icon → Brand settings → Social accounts.
- Tap the ➕ next to Instagram.
- Choose either option and sign in using your username and password.
- Choose the Instagram account that you want to connect to Social and click Add.
- Choose the type of your account.
- Click Okay to add the account to Social.

Connect Youtube channel
- Tap the Brand icon → Brand Settings → Social Accounts.
- Tap the ➕ next to Youtube.
- Select the YouTube account you want to connect to from the list of channels. If you haven’t signed in yet, you can sign in using your credentials.
- Authorize Zoho Social to access your Youtube channel by clicking Give access.
- Click Okay to connect your account to Social.
Connect Google Business Profile
- Navigate to Brand icon → Brand settings → Social accounts.
- Tap the ➕ next to Google Business Profile.
- Log in to the Google account that's associated with your Google Business Profile.
- Click Continue in the permissions pop-up and provide permissions for Zoho Social to access the Business Profile.
- Select the Business Profile from the listings associated with the connected Google account.
- Click Okay to add the account to Social.
Connect Pinterest
- Tap the Brand icon → Brand settings → Social accounts.
- Tap the ➕ next to Pinterest.
- Log in to your Pinterest account by providing the credentials.
- Authorize Zoho Social to access your boards, pins, and account details by clicking Give access.
- Click Okay to connect your account to Social.

Connect Tiktok
Note:
- Users from India will not be able to connect TikTok with Zoho Social due to restrictions imposed by the Government of India.
- Navigate to Brand icon → Brand settings → Social accounts.
- Tap the ➕ next to TikTok.
- Log in to your TikTok account by providing the credentials.
- Click Authorize to allow Zoho Social to access your account.
- Click Okay to add the account to Social.
Connect Threads
Note:
- You must have an Instagram account to create a Threads profile.
- Navigate to Brand icon → Brand settings → Social accounts.
- Tap the ➕ next to Threads.
- Log in to Threads by providing your Instagram username and password, or you can authorize to continue via Instagram.
- Go on to provide permissions for Zoho Social to access, publish, and monitor the stats of posts from the Threads profile by clicking Continue as <username>.
- Click Okay to add the account to Social.
Connect Bluesky
- Navigate to Brand icon → Brand settings → Social accounts.
- Tap the ➕ next to Bluesky.
- Enter your username and app password.
- Tap Add and click Okay to add the page to Social.
STEPS TO GENERATE APP PASSWORD:
- Log in to your Bluesky account.
- Go to Settings -> Privacy and security -> App Passwords
- Tap on Add App Password.
- In the popup, enter a unique name for the App Password.
- Ensure to check the Allow access to your direct messages option to access your messages from Zoho Social.
- Click on Create App Password.
- Copy and paste the generated App Password in the adjacent Bluesky App Password field
Connect Mastodon
- Navigate to Brand icon → Brand settings → Social accounts.
- Tap the ➕ next to Mastodon.
- Choose the appropriate server from the listed servers, or click Others and enter the server name.
- Enter your username and app password.
- Tap Authorize and click Okay to add the page to Social.
Create new Brand
To Create a New Brand with Its Own Set of Channels:
- Tap the Brand icon at the top
- Select create new brand
- Enter the required brand details like Name and Description
- Click Next
- Tap the ➕ icon next to the social media channel you want to connect
Switch between Brands
To Switch Between Existing Brands:
- Tap the Brand icon at the top.
- Select Switch Brand
- Choose the brand you want to access.
Important:
- You can also reconnect or manage existing channels for each brand directly from the mobile app whenever needed.
Brand settings
Within the Brand settings section, you can:
- View and edit your brand information
- Add, remove, or reconnect social media channels
- Adjust your notification preferences
- Manage your publishing settings
Accessing Brand settings
You can access Brand Settings in two simple ways:
- Tap the Brand icon at the top of the screen
- Click Brand Settings.
Or
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Select Brand Settings from the list.
Note:
- To connect, reconnect, or remove channels, the user must have either Portal Admin or Brand Admin access.
To Add Channels
- Navigate to Brand Settings.
- Tap the ➕ icon next to the channel you want to connect.
- Enter your username and password.
- Click Add.
- Click Okay to add the account to Social.
To Reconnect Channels
- Navigate to Brand Settings.
- Click the Reconnect icon next to the channel that requires reconnection.
Note:
- Reconnection is needed when a channel’s access token expires or if permissions have been updated.
To remove Channels
- Navigate to Brand settings.
- Click on the channel you want to remove.
- Select Delete Channel to remove it from Zoho Social.
