You can use Trash to temporarily delete an item, and then restore them at any point. Delete removes the item permanently from the survey. You can only delete an item from the trash, but you cannot restore it once it has been deleted. Deleting a question, a survey or a custom variable removes all its associated answers permanently and it cannot be retrieved at any point. Learn more here.
