Can I work offline in Trident (Windows)?

Trident lets you stay productive even without an internet connection. When offline access is enabled, it saves your emails, calendar events, notes, tasks, and media locally, so you can continue using key features offline. Once the internet connectivity is restored, all your changes will be synced in the Zoho server.
Most online actions are available offline as well. If you attempt something that isn’t supported offline, you’ll either see an error message or your changes may revert to the last saved version.

 Mail Offline Capabilities 

  Organizing emails 

  • View emails of configured primary and secondary Zoho Mail accounts

  • View emails of configured POP and IMAP accounts

  • Create templates

  • Filter emails by attachments, unread messages, archived emails, or tags.

Compose and send emails

  • Draft new emails and replies and queue in Outbox (will be sent automatically when online)

  • Schedule emails

  • Delete emails in Outbox

  • Insert signature and templates

 Managing emails

  • Move emails between folders

  • Delete, archive, and print emails

  • Mark emails as spam

  • Add tags to emails

  • Flag emails

  • Forward emails as attachments

  • Add emails to tasks

Enable or Disable Offline Mode

By default, the Offline Mode will be enabled in Trident. This feature downloads and syncs all your emails, which may increase disk space usage. 

To enable or disable offline mode from the account switcher:

  1. Right-click the account for which you want to enable or disable offline mode.

  2. Select Resume Sync to enable offline mail sync or Disable Offline Mail.  

To enable or disable offline mode from the account details page:

  1. Click open the account in Settings.

  2. In the Sync Mail section, toggle the Sync option on or off.
