Zoho Vault integration with Zoho Cliq

Managing passwords and access permissions is now easier than ever with the Zoho Vault bot in Zoho Cliq. This powerful integration brings password management capabilities directly to your chat interface, enabling you to perform key actions without switching between applications.
To start using the bot, open your Zoho Cliq and send a “Hi” message to the Zoho Vault bot. The bot will guide you through its available commands and features, helping you stay organized, secure, and productive, right from your chat window.
Here's a breakdown of the Zoho Vault bot's capabilities:

Real-time alerts for password events | All users | Get an instant alert in Cliq the moment a password or folder is shared with you. The notification lists the password name, the shared user name, the permission level you've been given, and a link to open it in Vault, so you never miss an important update. |
Quick user onboarding | Super admins | Invite new members to Zoho Vault straight from a Cliq conversation, with no need to open the web portal. The bot collects the details it needs through a guided prompt and sends the invitation. The new member gets access as soon as they accept. |
Manage invitations from chat | Super admins | Handle invitations that are already out. Resend one that expired or never reached the recipient, or revoke one that went to the wrong person or is no longer needed, all without leaving the chat window. |
Instant access request approvals | All users to raise requests, password owners to approve them | For passwords with access control enabled, request access through the bot instead of pinging the owner separately. The owner gets an instant Cliq notification and can approve or reject with a single click, right in the chat. Requesters can ask "Get my access requests" to see every request they've raised and its current status. Owners can ask "My access approval requests" to view pending requests from teammates and act on them without leaving Cliq. |
View security reports in chat | Super admins and admins for team reports, regular users for their own | Super admins and admins can ask for a password assessment report covering hygiene metrics such as weak, reused, or old passwords, either for the entire team or for a specific user. Regular users can ask the bot for their own access report, a quick way to check password health and access details without digging through Vault. |
How to subscribe or unsubscribe to Zoho Vault bot in Cliq
To subscribe: Search for “Zoho Vault bot” in Zoho Cliq and click the Subscribe button.
To unsubscribe: Click the three-dot icon on the Zoho Vault bot chat and select Unsubscribe.
