How to preview or test the form before publishing

Overview

After configuring a fillable template, the form creator can preview and test it in different ways depending on the requirement. There are three options to preview and test the created fillable form.

Access fillable Form

  1. Best suited for making self-submissions.
  2. Does not add a watermark.
  3. Consumes credits.

Test fillable form

  1. Used to test the configured automations and ensure the form behaves as expected.
  2. Adds a watermark.
  3. Does not consume credits.

Preview Fillable Document

  1. Allows you to check the filling experience of the form.
  2. Does not generate actual documents—only simulates the input experience.

Steps

You can test your configured submit actions with any of the optionsbelow before sharing it with respondents.
  1. Use Access Fillable Form from the top band for real submissions.
  2. Use Test Fillable Form from the left panel to test automations without using credits.


  3. Use Preview Fillable Document under Fields > Fillable Fields to check the responder’s filling experience.
