When different orders or runs require different numbers of labels, manually duplicating records can be time-consuming. With dynamic label quantity, you can set the number of labels to print for each record using a fixed value or a quantity from your data.

For example, if Order A requires 5 labels and Order B requires 2, Writer automatically generates 5 labels for A and 2 for B; without duplicating records manually.

1. Create Label Template and connect a data source

2. Open the Configuration panel from Automate Tab and set a fixed label quantity for each record, or dynamically determine the quantity using a column from the dataset. 

3. Click Preview Merge to see the required quantity of labels being generated for each record.
