How to insert dynamic text links for each record using merge fields
Overview
Zoho Writer allows you to insert personalized hyperlinks in your documents by combining static text with dynamic merge field values. This is useful for creating recipient-specific URLs—for example, linking to individual order summaries, profile pages, or invoices.
A link like:
on merge, will turn into:
https://yourdomain.com/order/45678 for one user, and
https://yourdomain.com/order/98412 for another.
Steps:
- Select the text that needs to have a dynamic text link.
- From the Link dropdown and choose Insert Link.
- Choose the appropriate Merge Fields containing dynamic link values as shown and click Apply.
